Other information...
Arrived at Team Lotus from March's F3 team in a swap deal for Ronnie Peterson who didn't want to drive the Lotus 77. Ironically was replaced at Lotus for the 1978 season by Peterson, but he had secured a drive at Shadow where he would be the number one driver. Unfortunately at the end of the 1977 season he revealed he had developed cancer and died without ever racing in F1 again.
