Lotus 77 (1976)

In 1976 the Lotus 77 (aka The John Player Special Mk II) appeared. It was designed to be fully adjustable, to maximise its setup ability. So it could vary weelbase length and track width! Note the air intakes by the side of the driver's head, that also adorned the Lotus 78. It started the road back to winning for Lotus when Mario Andretti won the last race of the season at Mount Fuji, Japan.

Not exactly the best looking car ever!
